The History of JLLD

Since its inception in 2010, John Lawson Legacy Days has captured countless memories through photos, celebrating the history and traditions of North Carolina. Many of the individuals who helped create this event are no longer with us, but their legacy lives on through the festival. Below, we’ve highlighted some of our favorite photos from past events.

Onsite, you can purchase DVDs of previous years’ events, allowing you to relive the rich history of John Lawson Legacy Days. We also encourage you to share your favorite moments by submitting photos to our Facebook page or tagging us on social media.
